Terms of Service

You must be at least 18 years old — or older where the law where you live sets a higher minimum age for hemp products — to purchase from us. By ordering, you confirm you meet that requirement and that hemp-derived CBD products are legal where you live. Our products are for adults; they are not intended for children.

Ridgeline balms are cosmetic lip care made with hemp-derived CBD isolate. Every batch is third-party lab tested and verifies 0.0% THC (non-detect); each tube's QR code opens its batch's certificate of analysis. "Non-detect" means no THC was detected at the testing laboratory's reporting limit — the strictest result a lab test can support, and the basis for the 0.0% on our packaging. Our products are not medicine: they are not intended to diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any disease, and nothing on this site is medical advice. These statements have not been evaluated by the FDA. If you have a medical question, ask a medical professional — we make lip balm.

Our online shop opens August 2026; until then, retail purchases are pre-orders where offered, and wholesale pre-orders run through our wholesale portal under our Wholesale Terms. Prices are in U.S. dollars and may change before you order (never after). We may decline or cancel an order — for example, if we can't ship to your location or suspect fraud — and if we cancel, you're refunded in full. Shipping and returns are covered in our Shipping & Returns policy, which is part of these terms. For pre-orders: you can cancel any time before your order ships for a full refund, and if we can't ship within the window we stated when you ordered, we'll tell you promptly and you choose — consent to the new date or get an automatic full refund.

Wholesale accounts must provide accurate business and reseller-permit information and keep sign-in credentials secure. You're responsible for activity under your account. We may suspend accounts that provide false information or misuse the site.

The Ridgeline name, ridge mark, tube designs, photography, and site content are ours (or licensed to us) and protected by intellectual-property law. Don't copy, scrape, or use them commercially without written permission. You're welcome to share links and post photos of our products.

Don't break the site, probe it for vulnerabilities, submit false information, impersonate anyone, or use the site for anything unlawful or harmful — including conduct along these lines that we haven't thought to list.

The site and products are provided "as is." To the fullest extent the law allows, we disclaim all implied warranties, including the implied warranties of merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose.

To the fullest extent the law allows, our total liability to you for claims related to the site or a purchase is limited to the amount you paid us for the product at issue. This limit does not apply to personal injury, fraud, gross negligence, willful misconduct, or any other liability the law says can't be limited — and it doesn't take away rights that consumer-protection or product-safety laws give you and that can't be waived. Our Shipping & Returns remedies are in addition to, not instead of, those rights. Some jurisdictions don't allow certain limits, so parts of this section may not apply to you.

Talk to us first — hello@ridgelinebotanicals.com — and give us 30 days to make it right; most things end there. If we can't work it out, you and Ridgeline agree to resolve the dispute by binding individual arbitration administered by the American Arbitration Association (AAA) under its Consumer Arbitration Rules (available at adr.org), rather than in court, and each of us waives the right to a jury trial and to participate in a class action. Arbitration is handled by videoconference, phone, or written submissions unless we both agree otherwise, and AAA's consumer fee schedule applies — our share is the larger one. Either of us may instead bring an individual claim in small-claims court where you live or where we are based.

Opting out: you can reject this arbitration agreement, no strings attached, by emailing hello@ridgelinebotanicals.com within 30 days of the first time you accept these terms (for example, at your first order) with your name, the email you used, and a line saying you opt out of arbitration. It takes effect when we receive it, and it doesn't affect anything else in these terms. This dispute section survives the end of these terms. Wholesale purchases follow the dispute process in our Wholesale Terms instead of this one.

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Washington. Court proceedings that aren't arbitrated happen in the state or federal courts of Washington — except eligible small-claims actions, which you may bring in your local court, and nothing in this section takes away non-waivable protections of the consumer laws of the place where you live.

We may update these terms as the business grows — for instance, when the shop opens. Changes apply going forward only: the version in effect when you place an order governs that order, the date at the top always reflects the current version, and if we ever materially change the dispute section, we'll ask for your fresh agreement rather than assume it.

If part of these terms is found unenforceable, the rest still stands. If we don't enforce something once, we haven't waived it. We may assign these terms to a successor of the business; you may not assign them. These terms, plus our Shipping & Returns policy, Privacy Policy, and (for wholesale accounts) Wholesale Terms, are the whole agreement between us about the site and your purchases; for wholesale purchases the Wholesale Terms control where they differ. Sections that by their nature should survive — disputes, disclaimers, IP — survive.
